Teachers are one of the most important figures in this world. True teachers bring about positive change and influence the youth of our country. Teachers help to mold the next generation and we strive to honor them. Teachers in our program have decided to go against all of the obstacles that society has placed in their paths and committed to teach. They need your support.

Purpose:

The primary purpose for this program is to motivate, inspire, & support teachers.

Why:

We believe that teacher are more than just an individual that stands in front of students on a weekly basis. Teachers inspire, counsel, motivate, uplift, and influence the lives of many youth each and everyday. Society sends a message that teachers are not important through pay cuts, lack of proper supplies, and ridiculous demands. Our school systems treat all teachers as interchangeable parts, not professionals. Excellence goes unrecognized and poor performance goes unaddressed. This indifference to performance disrespects teachers and gambles with students’ lives.

Purpose:

To get 7th grade students across the country to commit to graduating from High School.

Why:

Statistics say that every 9 seconds a kid in America drops out of school. They also state that only 2/3 of 9th grade students who enter high school actually graduate with a high school diploma 4 years later. Students lack motivation, good teachers, and adequate tools to stay in school and graduate from high school. Our program was designed to give tools, motivation, and enthusiastic teachers to help them graduate from high school and go beyond.

Welcome parents and students!

It is with great excitement and anticipation that we welcome The WAG Program to embark on this journey that, pursed with dedication, will enrich your life, your family's life, and the lives of those around you. We live in such a fast paced generation. As parents we balance work, our social life, our children's lives, their school work, and their activities. With the roles of parenthood being different today, with many single parents now and most mothers even in married homes seeking employment outside the home, the traditional daily family occasions have somewhat disappeared. It is often rare when families sit down at the table for a meal with everyone present. Parents may teach manners at home, but it's often hard to find time to get all the training necessary in! Technology has changed the pace for everyone as is evident even by you reading this etiquette course online versus taking it in a class. However, even though we don't have those opportunities to be around the dinner table sitting with the family like we used to, we can still help our students get acquainted with points of etiquette as well as brushing up on a few things ourselves! We want them to be prepared for social settings with the poise and confidence that comes from the knowledge of how it's supposed to be done.
