Our program teaches a variety of job skills such as: resume writing, job etiquette, planning for your future, college/financial aid assistance, on the job training, and so much more. The program runs from June – October every year.

Mentoring
This program is mainly focused on becoming a young lady and becoming a young man. We believe our youth need a visual example of what it means to be a young lady/man and someone pouring into their lives to help them become responsible and productive. Interested youth and parents should submit a 200 word or less informal letter stating why the child/parent feel that a mentor would be beneficial and some areas of struggle.
Letters can be mailed to:
Attn: WAG Mentoring Program
3662 W. Camp Wisdom Rd. Ste. 2016
Dallas, TX. 75237
Or delivered in person to this address M-F 9am-5pm.
Scholarships
Each year the WAG Program gives away thousands of dollars in scholarships to individuals desiring to further their education through college or technical school. Individuals must be a part of one of our programs to qualify and scholarship awards and instructions on how to apply for one will be posted on our website periodically during the year.
Recycling For Education
This program is comprised of WAG Students committed to excelling in education and graduation from high school. We have launched this recycling initiative with FMA, a group of young women ages 16-24 whose mission is to assist with the reduction and prevention of unplanned pregnancy among teenage and single young women. They are so dedicated to the program that we are donating 2% of their own income to the scholarship fund, along with 75 other Texas Workforce Interns and WAG employees. By participating in Recycling for Education you will be giving youth opportunities for the progression of education by rewarding and aiding in the enhancement of the education process.
